What Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to operate the PulseRing Pro service. Here is exactly what we collect and why:
Account Data
Name, email address, and password when you create a PulseRing Pro account. Used to authenticate you and communicate about your order and device.
Purchase Data
Order details, deposit amount, and transaction reference. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store card details.
Wellness Data
Sleep trends, heart rate variability (HRV), activity data, and readiness scores generated by your PulseRing Pro device. Used only to display your wellness insights in the app.
Device Data
Device identifier, firmware version, and sync logs. Used to provide software updates and technical support for your ring.
Usage Data
App interaction data to improve the product experience. This data is anonymised and aggregated — it cannot be traced back to you individually.
Communications
Emails you send to contact@pulseringpro.com.au and any support requests. Retained to provide customer support and improve our service.
Where Your Data Lives
All personal data and wellness data collected by PulseRing Pro is stored exclusively on Australian servers. Your data does not leave Australia and is governed at all times by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Australian Data Storage — Guaranteed
Unlike Oura, Whoop, Samsung, and other competitors who store your health data on US or EU servers, PulseRing Pro is committed to keeping your data on Australian soil. This is a core product promise, not just a configuration choice. We will notify you in writing before any change to this policy.
How We Use Your Data
We use your personal information only for the following purposes:
To Provide the Service
Processing your deposit and order, shipping your ring, and operating the PulseRing Pro wellness app.
To Display Your Wellness Insights
Showing your sleep, HRV, and readiness trends in the app for your personal use only.
To Communicate With You
Sending order confirmations, shipping updates, product updates, and responding to support requests.
To Improve the Product
Using anonymised, aggregated data to improve firmware, app features, and wellness algorithms. Individual data is never used for this purpose.
To Comply With Legal Obligations
Retaining records as required by Australian law, including tax and consumer protection obligations.
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data to anyone. We share limited data only with the following trusted service providers, strictly to operate the PulseRing Pro service:
Stripe
Payment processing. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe under their privacy policy. We do not store payment card data.
Brevo
Email communications. Your email address is used to send order confirmations, product updates, and newsletters (with your consent).
Netlify
Website hosting. Standard web server logs may include your IP address. Netlify's infrastructure is used only for website delivery.
Airwallex
Business banking. Transaction records are held with our business bank account provider for financial reporting purposes.
We do not share your wellness data, health metrics, or personal information with any advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party marketers.
Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you at any time.

You can request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Deletion
You can request deletion of your personal data and wellness history at any time. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
Data Export
You can request an export of your wellness data in a portable format at any time.
Opt Out
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying 'unsubscribe' to any email or contacting us directly.
Complaint
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Security & Data Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information including:
Unique per-device credentials — Every PulseRing Pro ships with unique security credentials. No shared passwords across devices.
Encrypted transmission — All data between your device, app, and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS.
5-year software support — We commit to providing security updates for PulseRing Pro devices until at least June 2031.
Vulnerability disclosure — We operate a public vulnerability disclosure program. Report security issues to contact@pulseringpro.com.au or visit our Security Policy page.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Cookies & Tracking
Our website (pulseringpro.com.au) uses minimal cookies necessary to operate the site. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that identify you personally.
Local browser storage is used on our landing page to remember your counter preference and email capture status. This data is stored only in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.
